The Set Los Feliz — Privacy Policy
Effective September 30, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Tigranandlavrent LLC, operator of The Set Los Feliz (“The Set,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), handles personal information in connection with thesetlf.com (the “Site”), communications with us, and our store at 2110 Hillhurst Avenue, Los Angeles, California 90027.
Customers currently place online order requests primarily through Weedmaps, which operates its own platform and has its own privacy policy. We use IndicaOnline for point-of-sale and customer records. Weedmaps may send information about an order to us or to IndicaOnline so we can review and fulfill it. Our Site does not currently accept orders or payments through an IndicaOnline API. This Policy describes our handling of information we receive; Weedmaps' policy also governs information it handles independently.
1. Information we collect, use, and retain
| Information and source | How we use it | How long we keep it |
|---|---|---|
| Site age confirmation. The answer to the Site's 21+ prompt is saved in your browser's session storage. The prompt does not collect your birth date or an ID image. | Remember your access choice during that browser session. This is not identity or age verification for a sale. | For the browser session, subject to your browser's settings and behavior. |
| Site and device information. Our hosting and security systems may process an IP address, browser and device information, requested pages, referral information, timestamps, and error or security logs when you visit. | Deliver and protect the Site, troubleshoot errors, and understand basic performance. | Under the hosting and security systems' operational log cycles, or longer when needed to investigate an incident or meet a legal obligation. |
| Messages and contact information. If you call or email us, we receive the details you provide, such as your name, phone number, email address, and message. The current Site has no contact form. | Respond to you, resolve a request or complaint, and maintain necessary business records. | For the time needed to address the matter and any related recordkeeping, dispute, or legal obligation. |
| Orders and sales. Weedmaps may provide order and customer details such as name, contact information, requested items, amounts, pickup or delivery information, and information needed to check eligibility. IndicaOnline records customer profiles, transactions, payment status, and sales history. Depending on the order workflow, an ID or other document supplied through Weedmaps may also reach our IndicaOnline customer record. | Review and fulfill requests, verify eligibility and legal purchase limits, process sales, handle product issues or recalls, prevent fraud, and maintain required records. | We keep licensed-business records for at least seven years from creation unless a specific shorter rule applies. Information may be retained longer for a legal obligation, dispute, investigation, or hold. The period for a particular item depends on the record and its purpose. |
| In-store identification and medicinal eligibility information. Staff inspect valid identification and, when applicable, a physician's recommendation. We scan IDs into IndicaOnline customer records. Scanning can save identifying fields and images of the front and back of an ID. Medicinal documentation may also be recorded when needed for a medicinal transaction. The informational Site does not ask you to upload an ID. | Check age, identity, and medicinal eligibility; support lawful sales; address fraud or specific disputes; and preserve records that must be maintained. We do not treat a scan as permission to send marketing. | We currently have no automatic deletion date for ID scan records in IndicaOnline. Unless you ask us to delete them, they can remain in the customer record without a preset end date. A deletion request is reviewed against applicable recordkeeping requirements and any specific dispute, investigation, or legal hold. We will remove information we can lawfully and technically remove and explain what must remain. |
| Store security video. Cameras record activity at and around the store, including areas where surveillance is required for a licensed cannabis retailer. | Protect people and property, investigate incidents, and comply with cannabis surveillance requirements. | Routine footage is kept for at least 90 calendar days and is ordinarily overwritten after that period. A relevant recording may be preserved longer for an incident, investigation, regulator request, or legal hold. |
| Rewards. When you make a purchase, we record your purchases and rewards balance (store credit and punch-card progress) in IndicaOnline, our point-of-sale system, so we can apply your rewards. | Track and apply store credit and punch-card rewards at checkout. | While you have a balance or recent activity, then as needed for business records. |
| Marketing choices. If you separately subscribe to promotional email, we may record the contact information you provide, your choice, and information needed to administer it. | Provide the program you requested, honor your communication choices, and maintain an opt-out record. | While you participate, then as needed to honor an opt-out or meet a legal obligation. We do not currently operate a promotional SMS program. |
Some information about cannabis purchases, IDs, or medicinal eligibility is sensitive. We use it for the business and legal purposes described above and restrict access according to those purposes. We may use information in a combined or deidentified form when it no longer reasonably identifies a person.
2. Who receives information
We disclose information as reasonably needed to:
- Providers that help run our business, including IndicaOnline for point-of-sale and customer records, website hosting and security providers, and providers that support authorized payments, communications, or recordkeeping. They receive information relevant to the service they provide.
- Weedmaps, when you use its separately operated platform and information must pass between the platform, our store, and our point-of-sale system to process an order. Weedmaps also collects information directly under its own policy.
- Regulators, law enforcement, courts, and other parties when disclosure is required by law or reasonably necessary for a lawful investigation, claim, safety issue, or protection of rights.
- A successor business in a lawful sale, merger, or reorganization, subject to applicable privacy obligations.
A linked map, social network, menu, or other outside service can collect information when you visit it. Review that service's notice. We do not use ID scans or medicinal eligibility records as permission for a third party to market to you.
3. Browser storage and tracking
The current Site uses browser session storage for the 21+ access choice. Its current pages do not contain advertising pixels, analytics tags, an embedded ordering widget, or a contact form. Hosting and security systems may still process technical request logs as described above. An outside site can collect information after you follow a link to it.
Because the current Site does not use advertising trackers in its page code, a legacy browser Do Not Track setting does not change how those pages operate. If we introduce an embedded service, optional tracking, or an IndicaOnline-connected Site menu or order process, we will update this Policy and provide any choices required by law before the new collection begins. Where California law gives you a right to opt out of a sale or sharing of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, we will honor applicable requests and qualifying browser preference signals for that activity.
4. Messages and marketing
We may contact you to answer a question, address an order, provide a product safety notice, or meet a legal obligation. An age-gate answer or a phone number given for an order does not sign you up for marketing.
If you separately choose to receive promotional email, use the unsubscribe instructions in a message to stop it. Cannabis marketing to an individual requires age affirmation before enrollment. We do not currently send promotional SMS messages. If we start such a program, we will provide separate terms and obtain the required consent and age affirmation first.
5. Your requests and California rights
You may ask us about information we hold about you, request access or a correction, ask us to delete information, or raise a privacy concern. Email thesethollywood@gmail.com, call 323-284-8336, or write to the address below. To protect your information, we may verify your identity and ask for details needed to find the relevant record. Please do not email us an ID image or medical document unless we provide a secure method for that purpose.
We will review and respond under applicable law. A request to delete an ID scan, customer profile, or order record may be limited by a legal recordkeeping duty, the need to complete a transaction, a specific security or fraud concern, or a claim or hold. Deleting a visible IndicaOnline profile is not necessarily the same as removing a transaction record, a document held by Weedmaps, or a copy in a vendor backup. We will tell you the result of our review and, where applicable, the reason information remains. For information Weedmaps controls independently, you may also contact Weedmaps.
If the California Consumer Privacy Act applies to our business, eligible California residents also have the rights it provides to know or access, correct, and delete personal information; to opt out of a sale or sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising; to limit certain uses of sensitive personal information; and to receive equal treatment for exercising those rights, subject to legal exceptions. You may use an authorized agent as permitted by law. We will honor additional rights that apply to your request. California residents may also use the contact above to ask about disclosures covered by California's “Shine the Light” law; put “Shine the Light request” in the subject or heading.
6. Security and age
We use safeguards appropriate to the information we handle and limit access to those with a business need. No storage or transmission method is completely secure. If you believe information you gave us has been misused, contact us promptly.
The Site is intended for people 21 or older. We do not knowingly seek personal information through it from anyone under 21. California law separately permits a qualifying medicinal cannabis customer who is at least 18 and has the required physician's recommendation to purchase from an appropriately licensed retailer after in-person eligibility checks. If you believe a person under 21 submitted information to us through the Site, contact us so we can review it.
7. Changes and contact
We may revise this Policy as our services and practices change. We will post the revised version and its effective date, and give additional notice when the law requires it. This version describes the Site and store practices on the effective date.
