The Set Los Feliz — Terms of Use

These Terms of Use govern thesetlf.com (the “Site”), operated by Tigranandlavrent LLC, operator of The Set Los Feliz (“The Set,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), at 2110 Hillhurst Avenue, Los Angeles, California 90027. Please read these Terms and our Privacy Policy. By using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.
The Site currently provides information about our store. Online order requests are ordinarily placed on Weedmaps, a separate service. We use IndicaOnline as our in-store point-of-sale system. An IndicaOnline API menu or ordering feature on this Site may be added later; these Terms describe the Site as it operates on the effective date.
1. Age and lawful use
The Site is intended for people 21 years of age or older. The age prompt asks you to affirm your age but does not verify your identity. Do not use the Site if you are under 21 or provide a false age confirmation.
California permits a qualifying medicinal cannabis patient who is at least 18 and has the required physician's recommendation to purchase medicinal cannabis from an appropriately licensed retailer. The Site's 21+ access rule does not change that separate eligibility. Before any sale, our staff must inspect valid identification and, for a medicinal sale, the required recommendation. Online age confirmation does not replace this inspection.
Cannabis may be purchased, possessed, delivered, or used only where allowed by applicable law. You are responsible for following the laws that apply to you.
2. Store information and products
The Site may display our location, contact information, hours, products, prices, availability, promotions, or links to a menu. We work to keep this information accurate, but inventory, prices, taxes, hours, and offers may change. A displayed product or price does not guarantee availability or acceptance of an order. The terms and total presented in the actual order process and confirmed by the store govern a purchase, subject to applicable law.
Descriptions of cannabis and other products are general information. They are not medical advice, a diagnosis, or a guarantee of effects. Consult a qualified health professional about medical questions. Follow product labeling and applicable law. Keep cannabis away from children and animals, and do not drive or operate machinery while impaired.
3. Weedmaps orders and future Site features
Customers currently place online order requests primarily through Weedmaps. This Site does not currently accept an order or payment. If you use Weedmaps, its own terms and privacy notice govern its platform. Weedmaps may send an order request and related information to The Set and IndicaOnline. The Set is the licensed retailer that determines whether to accept and fulfill a request and conducts any resulting cannabis sale.
Submitting an order request does not guarantee that it is accepted or that an item remains in stock. We may decline or cancel a request for an inventory change, inaccurate information, legal purchase limit, eligibility issue, suspected misuse, or another lawful reason. Any payment adjustment or refund owed will be handled under applicable law and the terms shown in the order process.
You must provide accurate order information and present valid identification when goods are released. A qualifying medicinal customer must also present the required recommendation. Pickup or delivery is available only if offered in the applicable order process and at the location or within the area shown there. Do not order for an ineligible person or attempt to exceed a legal purchase limit.
If we add an IndicaOnline-connected menu or order feature to this Site, we will provide the applicable checkout terms and update these Terms and the Privacy Policy before that feature goes live.
4. Offers and product issues
A deal applies during its stated dates, at the stated location, to eligible customers and products, and subject to its displayed exclusions and limits. Taxes and fees are determined in the order process or at the store. We may correct a clear error or end an offer as permitted by law. No offer authorizes a transaction prohibited by cannabis law.
For a damaged, defective, recalled, or incorrect product, contact the store promptly. Our staff will address the issue under the applicable store policy and California law. These Terms do not waive a right or remedy that cannot lawfully be waived.
5. Accounts and communications
If an authorized service offers you an account, provide accurate information and safeguard your credentials. Contact us if you suspect unauthorized use of an account we operate.
We do not currently operate a promotional SMS program. If we introduce one, we will present separate sign-up terms and obtain the required consent and age affirmation before sending promotional texts. Providing a phone number for an order or customer record is not, by itself, consent to promotional texts. If you separately subscribe to promotional email, you may unsubscribe using the instructions in the message. We may still contact you about an order, inquiry, safety matter, or legal obligation when appropriate.
If you send us feedback or a question, you represent that you have the right to send it. You retain ownership of your material and permit us to use it to respond and operate our business. We will seek separate permission before using a private customer message as a public testimonial.
6. Acceptable use and intellectual property
Use the Site only for lawful, personal purposes. Do not interfere with its operation or security, attempt unauthorized access, introduce malicious software, impersonate someone else, use automated access that disrupts the Site, or violate another person's rights. We may restrict access when reasonably necessary to protect the Site, customers, or legal obligations.
The Site's original text, design, photographs, logos, and other content belong to The Set or their respective owners and are protected by applicable law. You may view and print reasonable portions for personal, noncommercial use. Commercial reproduction or use of our branding requires permission unless the law permits it.
7. Third-party services
Links to Weedmaps, maps, social networks, and other services take you to platforms we do not operate. Those services may have separate terms, privacy notices, and security practices. Review them before using the service. A third-party platform's role does not remove The Set's responsibilities for a sale that The Set conducts.
8. Availability and limits of these Terms
We may update, suspend, or discontinue Site features. To the extent permitted by law, we provide this informational Site as available and do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability or limits a remedy where applicable law prohibits the exclusion or limit, including rights arising from a consumer purchase, personal injury, fraud, or intentional misconduct.
9. Disputes and changes
California law governs these Terms, subject to mandatory consumer protections. A court with jurisdiction in Los Angeles County, California may hear a dispute concerning the Site unless applicable law requires another forum.
We may revise these Terms by posting a new version and effective date. We will provide additional notice when required by law. Changes apply prospectively and do not retroactively change a completed transaction. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain effective to the extent permitted by law. Our failure to enforce a provision once is not a waiver.
